The Sunbeams are Jane and Andy Sunbeam, a husband and wife team from Leicester who create unique pieces of artwork in a wide range of media, including photography, painting, printmaking, drawing and textiles. Their influences range from the world around them to the more magical and surreal.

Jane is a trained artist who creates artworks based on folklore and magical lands with a hint of the autobiographical, but fills the real world around her with textile pieces she has created using a more abstract and symbolic language. As a tutor she has been teaching part time for many years, and has enjoy inspiring her students to find their own creative language and ways to express themselves, whatever their age or ability.

Andy is a qualified IT specialist and photographer. For him, these two skills go hand in hand in this day and age of digital media. He specialises in computer hardware and web technologies, offering a high level of customer care which is also apparent in his photography. Andy does portrait and wedding photographs and when not helping others with their computer problems or capturing their special moments, he spends his free time creating his own art and photos.
